Carpets require proper care to maintain their original beauty

In order to maintain your carpets, it is important that you vacuum regularly; clean spills immediately and correctly; and have your carpets professionally cleaned at least once a year.

If you have a spill, simply follow these steps:

1. Remove as much of the spill as possibly. Use a white towel because colored towels tend to bleed and make the stain worse.
2. Using your white cloth/towel, gently press it into the spill to remove as much of the liquid as possible. Do not scrub the spill because that damages the fibers of your carpet.
3. Add water and continue to blot the stain until the color no longer transfers to your cloth
4. If you still see the stain, add 1 cup of warm water with 1/4tsp of laundry detergent and apply the solutions to the spill area. Let the solution sit for several minutes. Then rinse with warm water. Repeat until the solution is removed from the carpet.
5. Place a white paper towel over the spill and weigh it down with towels. Let it sit overnight so it can continue absorbing the liquid.
6. If the stain is still there, call ASE and have us come out and professionally clean the area.
